Happy Valentines Day

Happy Valentines Day to You All!

To celebrate I would like to share some fun Valentines I made for and with my girls this year.

This is the card my girls gave to their teachers. It is a case from Kelly Rasmussen via Pinterest. I loved the heart as an apple idea. So cute and simple.

This is the Valentine my 5 year old took to school today. Have a Kool Valentines Day! With Kool-Aid Single's and fun crazy straws I found at Target.
I found this idea via Moms by Heart.net

I just had to do this again this year. How fun is this heart braid.

This is the Valentine my 3 year old took for her class. I found this idea on Pinterest also, but I can not find the original source. It thought it  was such a good idea. A healthy alternative to candy.
You are My Main "Squeeze" Valentine! Attached to squeezable applesauce.

My three year old cheesin' it up for the camera in her heart shirt

Each teacher also got a brownie to snack on.

My 3 year old also took these fun Valentines to her little gymnastics friends and favorite coach today. They consist of two graham crackers half a Hershey Bar and a Peep Heart.
I need S'more friends like you!

I was so busy making all these fun things for my girls friends and teachers I completly forgot to make one for my hubby :( but I did make him this...

This is a photo from our wedding and I left the line blank so I can write different reasons why I love him with dry erase markers. Kind of sweet right!?
I found this via Super Savings Blog. Here is the link:

Happy Summer

 Hi All,

No, I have not gone crazy. I know Happy Summer is a silly post name for the middle of February, but I am trying to catch you up on all the things I've created in the past year.

Even though the high is only 30 degrees, the sun is shining here and I've got spring fever in a bad way, so the flip flop card seemed appropriate.

This is the card I made for my oldest daughters teachers at the end of the school year last year. She graduated preschool and had the same teacher for two years. I think I was more emotional than her. My eyes welled up on numerous occasions during the adorable graduation ceremony.

I found the idea for the gifts on Pinterest via Rachel Berry- www.therachelberryblog.com
It was so cute, original and practical. It consisted of a beach towel, magazine, lifesavers, and sunscreen.

Here is a picture of our little graduate and her teacher for 3 and 4 year old preschool

Thank you for stopping by and come back soon. Happy Creating!!

I Dig You

Hi All!

Today I would like to share with you a few things I made with the Stampin' Up! I dig you stamp set. Although I have two little girls, but they have a lot of of boy cousins and friends. So this was an easy purchase for me.

This first picture is an invite to a birthday party. The mom of the two boys is a good friend of mine and asked for my help. It was so much fun getting together with her and coming up with ideas. Here is what we came up with. The wording was all her idea. It's so cute and yes my girls were invited and they had a blast.

This next photo is of the tags I made to go on the goodie bags. Which were the cutest things ever! I wish I could have taken a picture, but the girls tore them apart on the way home. This awesome mom got aprons from Home Depot and inside were little "build your own" projects. The girls loved putting them together with their daddy.

Here is what the gifts that we took  looked like. I had the girls dip their toy truck tires in brown paint and zoom them around on, yes the brown paper that comes in my Stampin' Up! boxes. Why not!? The girls had a blast creating their own wrapping paper for their friends. I also created the mini cards with the I Dig You stamp set.

The other card I would like to share with you is a first birthday card for my cousins adorable little guy.  I totally "dig" this stamp set. ;)

Thanks for stopping by. I have lots more to share with you so come back soon. Until then...
Happy Creating!

I'm Back

Hi All

It's been way to long since I've written a blog post and it's been months since I've had a card class too. Time to get back on track. I miss Stampin' Up!!

I have been working on cards for personal things, so I will be sharing some of those with you.

Here is a project I took on April of last year. Our churches knitting group, "Crossed Needles" makes baby blankets that they give away to families at our church when their babies are baptized and they wanted cards to go with them.

Hard at Work

The card design is by Karen Philipp

They made the boy cards blue
And they made the girls card pink

They made fifty cards all together in just a few hours.  Twenty five boy cards and twenty five girl cards. Awesome job ladies!

Those babies and parents are so blessed by Brookfield Lutheran Crossed Needles ladies.
The cards placed with the blankets
