Here is another busy bag idea I found on Pinterest from engagingtoddleractivities.wordpress.com. It's an Easter themed activity, but it can be used all throughout the year.
It's an egg matching game. Here is a picture:
First I printed up some egg templates found here http://www.coloring.ws/t_template.asp?t=http://www.coloring.ws/easter/egg4.gif (I transferred them to a word document and made them smaller) Next I colored the templates with different egg color combos then cut them out. Finally I glued them to note cards, wrote the color for word recognition and put clear contact paper over them for protection.
Viola! A simple Easter themed busy bag ready for rest time. Can't wait for my oldest to try it out!
Visit again soon. New card ideas on the way!!
Happy Creating!
ooh, nice. We did the same type of activity and my preschoolers loved it!
ReplyDeleteHere's the direct link to our version in which we also made a 'background' for the eggs and encouraged the preschooler to help create using skill sets of tracing, gluing, etc.
